A birthday trip with Timmy and Cole. We stayed in a cabin in Sugar Pine, venturing into Yosemite for the first time. The fall colors were breathtaking—golden leaves against granite giants. As we hiked the Mist Trail and wandered the meadows beneath El Capitan, I felt the call of something deeper. I captured some of my best early photographs here, but more than that, I felt like I had come home to a past version of myself. Yosemite has a way of doing that.
