Sedona, Arizona
Date: August–November 2021
I left college and came to Tempe, Arizona with a injured back and a heavy spirit. I closed the door on what was my basketball career and had to figure out where my life was going. Living with my brother, I sought healing—physically, mentally, and spiritually. I wrestled with old identities and future unknowns. One day, I drove to Sedona and hiked into the red rocks with my camera and journal. At Amitabha Stupa, I sat and prayed for guidance. The wind blew through the pines. I walked out of those canyons lighter. The desert had offered its medicine.
